How Our Customers Are Using Our APIs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is an API?

An API, or Application Programming Interface, is a set of tools that help you build software applications. Our APIs allow you to programmatically access large amounts of app market data and integrate it into your products.

What countries and languages are supported?

We support 63 countries and 39 languages. For the full list, review our documentation.

How often is the data updated?

The most popular apps, top charts, and app rank histories are all updated daily. We update all data on a weekly basis. However, to make sure you’re working with the latest data, you can use our Recrawl API or request an app data refresh via the Recrawl API documentation page.

How do I get access to all data in a single File Dump?

We will provide you with credentials to an AWS-S3 bucket. From there, you’ll be able to download the raw app data as a machine-readable JSON file. For more information, review the documentation. Otherwise, feel free to contact us for a quote.

What’s included in the free trial? For how long?

By signing up for a free trial, you’ll get access to API features for 14 days. For more information about our products and plans, check out our pricing page.

What are API hits?

The best way to think about API hits is as a sort of virtual currency that you spend every time you make an API request. You can see how many hits are required per request for each of our APIs on the individual API documentation pages. Each month, the number of hits you have on your account will be reset according to the amount allotted by your package.
